The Byzantine Empire, which lasted for 1123 years, left many valuable structures in its capital, Istanbul. Explore these centuries-old structures with a professional and licensed guide and get ready to travel back in time!

In this experience, you will visit the Great Palace of Byzantium, its dungeons, streets, walls, churches, and you will learn about the life of kings and courtiers, important moments in Istanbul and much more.

About Experience

You will meet with your guide and start at the Great Palace where the Byzantine Emperors lived for nearly 690 years and the mosaic museum inside. Then you will walk through to the Anastasian wall. 

While walking on the road, you will pass by Sultanahmet Square. In this region, you will see Hagia Sophia from afar, and learn about the once-existing Hippodrome Of Constantinople, Byzantine columns and the life of the gladiators.

Then you will take a taxi to "Palace of the Porphyrogenitus" and visit this beautiful building. After visiting the museum inside, you will visit "Church of St. Mary of Blachernae" a 1500-year-old church, and listen to its exciting story.

Finally, you will tour the Anemas Dungeons, known for their fascinating interior and chilling stories.
